Gisèle Pelicot, a feminist icon following the trial of her rapists in Mazan, will publish her memoirs, titled "Raconter mon histoire avec mes propres mots," in January 2026. She hopes to offer hope to victims of sexual violence. Her ex-husband was convicted and sentenced to twenty years in prison. Pelicot was named one of Time magazine's Women of the Year for her courage in refusing a closed trial. Her daughter, Caroline Darian, has already published memoirs about the ordeal.
